Ok guys have a question about what size pistons to order due to the scaring in the pics i posted standerd bor i think is out of the question .. so from the kits i am looking at should i go with a .5mm over bore or a 1mm over bore

thanks kenny

If you are getting the jugs bored at a local shop they could measure your bores and let you know what size of pistons to order. I just guessed at what mine will need and went with the 1mm oversize, could have gone with .05mm easily and then I would have been able to get one more rebuild out of my jugs before needing to replace sleeves.

if its standard size, then ithought, youd hav e3 more bores from it.
.25, .50, .75, 1mm
Should take cylinder/s to machine shop, have them do quik "hone", be inspected for cracks, then if nuth'n, money for hone, should go toward the next size "bore"...

kenny,, have a machine shop that is going to bore measure the cylinders before purchasing pistons,,

No need to "throw away" bores, by boring oversize more than needed,
