I'm purchasing a used SeaDoo Challenger 1800 (from 2000 or 2001) from a friend in a few days. The price is excellent in my opinion. He is going to take me and my wife out on it to show us how it works. Is there anything in particular that I should look for? Observe?
He has already told me that there are some problems with some electronics - the radio doesn't work and the bilge pump doesn't work. And he has committed to fixing the Bilge pump. He assures me that the engine is solid and gives no problems. In the last 6 months or so, he hasn't used it much.
Anyway, is there anything in particular that I should look for during our demo ride?
