Just rebuilt my 2010 rxt x 260 engine completely and now when I start it it is like it has way too much oil pressure.
It will start and run fine but after a minute or two if you pull the dipstick out it will spurt oil out of the tube and eventually pump oil out of the crank where the drive shaft goes in. When you turn it off it spurts oil out of the TPC valve. I took the oil filter cover off and it started to overflow after a few seconds. Could I have a bad oil pump ? I think it must have a restriction of oil flow somewhere but I don't really know where to start to look. Thanks to everyone for your help in advance. Cheers Olive
