Pump and impeller interchange/specs

Looking at a '95 SPX 717 with a bad pump and impeller. Will the pump and impeller from a '95 SPI 580 interchange with the SPX? Thanks

Yes the pumps will interchange, and probably the impellers also, you might want to google the impeller part nos. to make sure its the same. BTW unless it's not the original motor your ski should have a 657.

You are correct Lou, I goofed. While researching the 95 SPX, I came across info about the 96 SPX and says it should have come with dual carb setup. My 96 has a single carb, how much performance difference between the single and dual setup? The 96 has the 717 in it.
