Hello friends,

Took the boat on vacation for first time since engine rebuilds. Ran great for a couple days until one of the manifolds kept coming loose. About the same time my mag side / starboard
Engine pulse line kept filling with a grey oily substance originating from fuel pump and working its way to case. What is causing this? Obviously it kept killing my engine, could not get above 4K rpm....I would clear line but it would build up again.

Thank you

The pulse hose to the fuel pump?? If that's what you are talking about... then it's normal. That doesn't kill the engine, since the pulse still is transmitted.

Thanks Doc,

Yes the line going from case to fuel pump. Unless it's coincidence, that engine will run normal when I clear
out the line. I blocked off injectors and both motors are running very rich at 50:1 premix but only the mag engine is giving me all the grief.
