Pulling tubes or kneeboards?

I have 97 Xp, and I noticed it has no towing eye in the rear, just the two on each side in the back to secure the waverunner on the trailer. Do they make a Y-shaped tow rope to hook up to pull a skier? Or should I not hook the tow rope up to them? This is my 1st waverunner, so I am new to this, but I was also wondering if anyone else has a balance problem trying to get two people up on the waverunner, every time we try it tips! Thanks again if anyone can help me out with this!

They do make Y shaped mini ropes that you then hook your tow rope too. We hooked them to the attaching eyelets on our old boat and that's how we always towed. The center piece where the tow rope attached to was on a big floating pulley so it would pivot around and not since down there the prop was. No props on these but I think it's still good to keep it from sinking down there and getting tangled.

Maybe its different where you are but around here you have to use atleast a 3-seater PWC to tow a tube/skier/kneeboard. To legally do so you need a operator, spotter, and a place for the person being towed. Not to mention I wouldn't want to tow anyone with an XP - not very well designed for that appilcation. From my experience most twoseaters only seat one comfortably and threeseaters only two comfortably. If you were riding with a child it wouldn't be so bad but two full-size adults are a bit much on an XP for very long. That's the reason i bought a new three seater- plenty of room for two - only had three on it once.

I towed my little step brother last weekend with my 2000 xp. I just pulled the rope through both loops and tied it in the middle. It did pretty good, just be careful turning around cause it will wanna tip. The xp's are kinda hard to ride with two people if you have bad balance. I've found with mine I put the trim all the way down and then hit the up button twice it does pretty good. I took my finance on mine but we rode on the river where it was smooth water and it was easy. We went on the lake and it was kinda tough but we didn't tip over. Her and her friend tried to ride it and couldn't make 20 ft before falling off so I guess its all who's driving and the person on the back has to balance too. It's way more fun with just one person though.
