Pulling steering wheel

Trying to replace my wheel in the '98 speedster. I've read a couple of other threads here about how to get the old wheel off. I've tried the "tap with hammer while pulling" program. To the point of being afraid of breaking something. Still hasn't budged. Hit it with PB blaster last night, tried pulling and tapping again this morning. No dice.

My great uncle was a pretty serious mechanic, when he died a few years back I got all of his tools. So I have about 4 different wheel puller sets, but none of them would work on this. There just isn't anything for it to hook onto.

Sooo.. last resort. Where do I buy a steering wheel puller that will work on this boat? I need something that will fit behind the steering wheel.

Ideas?

Just hit it harder while someone puts a constant force on the wheel. That's the only thing that worked for me. Seadoo stopped making the wheel puller tool

Guess I'll try it again. I'm just afraid of breaking something and costing more time/money.

I was too, but once you get it off you'll see the fiberglass is actually pretty thick. Just don't continuously pound it. One hard hit and mine came right off.

Got it!. I guess I just need to hike up my skirt and really hit it. Thanks!
