Yes Private Party... The owner found some serious health issue and they wanted to have cash for their BIG coming medical bill. But I'd say what a down to earth family I met yesterday.
They invited us inside their house and offered coffee/food. We sat around for 2-3 hours and talked.
The owner called me after 2-3 hours to make sure that I'm not having any issue driving or need any other help.

I was going to buy that boat! I spoke with Curtis and he said someone was driving along way to see it the next morning, so he couldn't sell to me... Very honorable of him to keep his world not to sell to allow you to come see it. He kept his word to me too by calling to say it sold.

I just pulled the trigger on a 2011 180SE 255hp w/factory tower... Also black and under 20hrs... It was my second choice as it was considerably more than the deal you got. LOL

Curtis keeps his word and I knew that before our deal went through. I was suppose to check the Boat on Sunday and on Friday, His son told Curtis and his wife NOT to sell the boat. Curtis calls me right away and said, my son is going through a phase and we can't sell the BOAT right now. But he promised me that he would talk him through and I'd be first one to get this boat as soon as he changes his mind.
Curtis promised him a Bass boat and I got his boat. I took this boat on Ride on Saturday and Sunday.. .I loved it....
All I can say, World is too small

Sweet SWeet boat in black. My Mrs is from New Zealand and if I ended up with a black one it would have ended up with a 4 mt long silver fern decal down the side. I tow mine with a similar spec car however anything that heavy over here you need to fit brakes etc before they're allowed on the road,

My first mod plans to change the factory speakers with either Wet Sounds XS650 or Polk MM-651UM (still undecided). Of course, I'd get the second battery too since my friend got a business of Home Theaters and he's going to put it for me FREE FREE ...
oh, My wife saw LED Rings on one of the boat and she's like, when are we getting those. I said honey, It's an expensive toy and we would never run out of the mods LOL...

nice boat man, i love those in black. They look really good with tinted windows. Also, wetsounds 650's are sick speakers.
moochy, my wife is deciding which color she wants for Hydroturf.. (Snow white or Black Marble).. she's little confused, so I'll let her decide on that. OR I might call them to send us a sample..

My 2 cents would suggest stay away from anything "snow white" that you walk on. Window tint... love it!
Funny that you bought MY boat from 550 miles away from your home, and the boat I bought is in Atlanta! Go figure! LOL

Speaking of trailering it 650 miles... did you have any issue with the bow cover or cockpit covers catching the wind on the highway and tearing or coming loose? I'm a bit worried about that as I will be hiring someone to trailer it down for me (about $500 Uship.com).

I got the keel shield off someone on eBay who canceled their project. I went for 7' white. You could go longer if you wanted too.
Re: hydroturf I have swamp camo on the inside and light grey on the swim deck. Swamp camo all over would have gone well on the whole black boat. It hides dirt extremely well whereas the lighter colors require more tlc.

Provided the two locating poles are firm n place you will have no problem at high speeds on the road with the standard covers.

Don't tell me you bought the boat from Milton, GA. I remember talking to that guy, He put the boat on sale for $22499 when I offered him $20K.. He changed the ad to 25K , next week 24K then after one week 23K... that boat came with tower...
I had bow and cockpit cover without any issue on highway... Please check the trailer every 100-150 hours to make sure everything is in good shape. that's what I did.. .

Yes, that's the one... like I said, not as good a deal as you got. But it is the HO (255hp and has the factory tower), so @ 22k, not a terrible deal... just not a steal like yours. I saw one on eBay a few days ago, 2011, red, 255hp, NO tower... called and they said they turned down a 21.5k offer so I didn't offer higher as I'd rather the tower model for $500 more ... not sure what it sold for, but they took it off eBay yesterday.
