propulsion problem- need help

1996 kawaski 1100 - a friend of mine borrowed them and took them to a lake with tons of seaweed - brought it back to lake erie - starts and revs up fine - just won't go anywhere - could it be plugged with seaweed or is likely something else -thanx jeff

look in the intake grate for seeweed if you dont see any then is your wear ring

thanx how muh does a waer ring generally cost and is it hard or easy to replace
