proper engine break in

i just finished rebuilding my engine and i was wondering how am i supposed to handle the throttle while breaking it in? i already have mixed my gas to 32:1. do i have to put it in the water under load or can i break it in at home with the water hose connected? how many hours is the recommended for an 787

If you go sbt website they have a great engine breakin proceedure. You have to break it in in the water, can not use a hose.
