problem with seadooboat

Hi can someone help me with this problem. I bought this seadoo boat and fixed several things on it.When I went to ride it, it will go off every two seconds. And when I put it in reverse to go back it won't back. I saw that when I put it in reverse the cable won't go down but when I put it back to go forward it go normally. Is the cable defect? Hope to get an answer.:seeya:

There is a little clip thing on the left side of the reverse bucket, it is prob not working correctly. Have someone at the controls and watch it...figure out how to get it do work correctly.

I have no idea what you are trying to say here... When I went to ride it, it will go off every two seconds.

It's probably not getting fuel for whatever reason. For one thing, make sure there are no leaks in the fuel lines or the fuel pump will suck air instead of fuel. Sometimes this is caused by an air leak at the fuel/water separator o-ring gasket where the plastic cup screws on.
