i just bought a 95 seadoo gtx that was sitting for a few months. The seadoo has a few issues that i need help on. I searched but couldnt figure out what the issue was...

its a 1995 Seadoo GTX, it has no power whatsoever...i put a new battery and there is no electricty...i searched and saw that people said it could be a fuse but i dont know where that fuse is actually located.

Also, the driveshaft is stuck, i sprayed wd40 in the spark plug holes and left it for 48 hours but still no movement...What needs to be done? Is the motor seized? Can you guys please help me out or give me an idea?

Pull the pump... and then check the engine. If you are lucky, the bearings in the pump a frozen... but... it's not uncommon for someone to get water into the engine, and then let it sit. When that happens... the engine is done. (Full rebuild)

As far as the power... the fuses are in the electrical box.

Hi and welcome to the forum
1. Check all the grounds, at the battery, starter, the fuses are in the front electrical box, and i think you have a rear box too. I assume you Do not get 2 beeps? Do the gauges come on if you just press the start/stop switch, w/o the lanyard on?

2. To test if seized, remove the little plastic behind the motor and turn that shaft by hand with the spark plugs OUT.
If still not able to turn the motor, then remove the pump (jet/impeller assembly) off the back and then try turning it again by hand.

I see that Dr Honda beat me to it. As I had a phone in the middle of typing. He is the most knowledgeable person on this forum so listen to him. Hopefully all you have a is a bad bearing....his test will tell you.

Thanks for the reply, i will do all of that and see what happens. I get no beeps or power on the gauges. What bearing do i need exactly? Also, what color is the electric box so i can identify it when i pull the seat cover off.

We don't know what you need yet. Did you get the pump off, and check it yet?

The electrical box is gray, and on your ski it's on the left side, forward of the engine.
