More than likely the speedometer is just dead. I would say you probably could check it with a multimeter but I have not idea How, just that it should be possible. A WAG would be to use your (D)VOM, probably in DC mode, probably for millivolts (although as I type this I could see setting it to 20V FIRST, then back down to smaller increments when you get nothing or almost nothing) and then spin the speed sender unit. All this proves is the wiring and all UP TO the speedo is good and that the culprit is the Speedo itself.

Info center?....

These newer systems are a bit more difficult to troubleshoot than their predecessor. The older ones had a purple hot wire. These are a bit more than that.

Any accessory that is attached to these skis has to be programmed through the mpem. Do any of your info center functions work? If not, you need to check for power. On the back, there is a red/blue and black wire. These are the 12 volt supply wires. Make sure they have power.

Next, you can check the communication wires. With the engine off, disconnect one of your sensors, like the temp sensor. When you try to start, see if you get an error on that sensor.

Last, if the info center works, the tach works......the problem could be in your speed sensor paddle. You can use an ohm meter and do a resistance test on it. Once you connect the wires to the probes, spin the paddle by your finger tip. You should see the numbers change on the meter......
