trying to remove driveshaft and there is this sleeve numbered #37 in this one page scematic I have that shows a circlip in front of it, well the sleave rotates with the help of a visegrip but I dont seem to see the circlip holding it from sliding down the shaft, I did become a premium member so I could start viewing manuals but paypal hasnt cleared my payment as of yet, any help would be appreciated, thanks.

This is the c clip your talking about...272000135 it should be there
with it off, it will come apart.

c clip problem

the cclip appears to be under the sleave, so I assume a little leverage and a couple a whacks with a hammer will make the cclip appear? will wait for response before I really do a number on the driveshaft, lol

I did see you need a puller to pull out the driveshaft...it's in the manual. If you get stuck tomorrow give me a shout.

pulling driveshaft

A little love with the hammer worked, the circlip was inside the sleave along with the two o-rings. got the driveshaft off , now my next question. I tore it apart due to small metalic particles all over the general area. well its ground aluminum frompart number 8 (the housing for the needle bearing). the housing has been spinning on parts 1 and 1. the needle bearing looks good, what would cause its housing to spin?

It looks like your describing the needle bearing in the support joint. The joint has a grease fitting on it. If it isn't greased it causes the needle bearings to come apart due to hear and friction. You need to replace the support joint #272 012 400 and needle bearing # 272 350 007. Don't forget the synthetic grease.
