I have a local 2007 speedster 150 that I am going to be considering purchasing

Has some mildew on the seats, and a broken Bimini Bimini pole. Also gas gauge won't register higher than 3/4 a tank. Needs a good cleaning.

Has hydro turf mats installed, and boat has only 100 hours. Boat was bought new the original owner is selling it. Comes with trailer.

He is asking $7,000 or best reasonable offer. What's a good price? I tried to see if he'd take $5k, but he said no he will take $6,250

Also he hasn't sent pics of the engine but these are 4tec right?

sounds like a good deal to me if it runs good and has good compression. you will want to rebuild the supercharger

yeah 4tec, you need to find out if its the 155 no sc or 215 sc.
mildew is hard to get off and can be permanent stain. you need the report print out from the ecm, seadoo dealer or candoo system can do this. this will show service history, faults and rpm range the boat has been running at by graph. otherwise your going on someone's verbal bs, which may lead to tears and a painful hip pocket..

I bought mine last year for $10k. It had 14 hours on it and is mint. It is the 215 with the tower.

Just an update

Seats needed reupholster, the bottoms and sides were ripped

Gas gauge didn't work

Major wear and tear and scratches all over and one bad chip from beaching it too often on the front center of the hull

Basically even though it had low hours it was very neglected

There will be other boats and better deals in better shape
