Prepping for a Florida Keys trip!

I joined for pretty much this post entirely...

I bought my first ever PWC's and I plan to take them to Marathon Florida in June. We already have the house booked and I have been having work done to the skis in prep for the trip. I am starting this post to gather any help and info to help make this trip amazing. I am pretty novice in the world of PWC, but I have been self learning like crazy and also never have been to the Florida Keys (Texas native). I am no stranger to coastal waters, been to the Texas coast many times with my center console for fishing trips. However, I didn't want to tow my fishing boat 1200 miles, so I bought 2 Seadoos.

A 2011 Seadoo GTI 130, and a 2012 Seadoo GTI 130 SE. Both are in immaculate shape. They are as of now mechanically prepped for anything. Using Facebook I connected with a fantastic Mechanic named John Gililand (known on the Seadoo owners FB group). He went through the skis with a fine tooth comb and did the carbon seal, motor mounts and pump seal on teh 2011. He also did the valve cover gasket and spark plug tubes on the 2012. Both are solid and run fantastic.

The white 2011 is my wifes and the black 2012 is mine. I plan to add the Garmin Echomap to the black one before our trip so that I have blue water topography charts.

Any advice on the keys (especially around marathon) and any advice on prep for the trip will be much appreciated.
