I just recently joined the forum after searching the net for info about my boat. Looks like this forum is a great source of info and a great place to make friends.

I am seriously considering purchasing a premium membership and I was wondering how many of you would recommend upgrading to a premium account. I have some issues with my boat and I could use some help with. Having access to some of the premium account benefits seems like a huge bonus, but do you think it is really worth it? Basically, is it all it's advertised to be?

Thanks.

To be honest, I and most premium members, become premium members to help the forum financially. You'll get the best help wether you join as a premium member or not. You will get free manuals, and you can just join for a month at a time.

So I guess the answer is if you just want free help you don't need to join as a premium member.

I did the premium solely because of the quality of the chats and the people. I have yet to ask a Seadoo question.

I did it to get my shop manual and to support the site, now you guys are stuck with me for at least two years :)

After I became a premium member ($59) I downloaded 3 manuals and had them printed and spiral bound....each SD manual can be $80 or more....so I'm over $180 ahead.

It's also nice to support the forum.

I can see the value just in the manuals myself. In fact I just purchased a CD manual from Midwest Manuals off of ebay for about $7. After spending only about an hour looking over it I learned quite a bit. Thanks for the reply.
