Premium Membership & Slow Screen Loading

Hey guys,

I'm new here and trying to figure out the ropes. What a great resource for owners but I have a question and a comment.

1st-I'm interested in the Premo Membership to get all the tech stuff I will use on my boat but really could download all I need in one month. So how does it work? Can I sign up Premo for 1 month then drop back to 1st Mate Bungle status or do I need to remain Premo for a set amount of time?

I also notice that the Blue backdrop screen really is slow and I'm not running a pig here either, everytime I refresh to a new forum or change views I have to waite for the Blue backdrop to regenerate then the info on that page. It's the same on my CAD station at work so I know its not PC dependant. Who ever developed the site should consider changing this as it really is annoying (at least to me). Overall though the site is fantastic, this is just my opinion and you know what they say about opinions

I am a freebe and I have no problem with the speed. As soon as I click on something it pops up. I do not know why you are haveing a speed issue. Good luck:cheers:

well I've been waiting almost a week and still can't get into premium area.
how do you stop the cr. card charges?

Phil who have you contacted about your"Premium Member" issue? The area is available in 24 hrs depending on you payment method. I believe the E-check takes the longest...like 24 or 48 hrs. You could pm the admin directly and get a quick response..." JoeZ" is the one to contact.

Renomaan I usually click on the quick links and link from there...it is much faster...especially when I post between 50 to 100 threads a day... I can reply to like 35 in an hour after reading the threads too.

Let me know directly in a "PM" if either of you two are still having problems.
