Port side valve with hose

I found a hose on the inside that is connected to something towards the front of the pwc on the port side and the tube runs about 3/4 the way towards the back of the pwc but isn’t connected to anything on the other end. Not sure what this is that it’s connected to in the front. But have some pics What is this? Where does the tube connect?

Not sure what ski you have but that is typically the battery vent tube if your are using a traditional; flooded cell battery.

2002 Seadoo GTX RFI 2 stroke. Yes this would make sense as I took the battery out last winter (never put battery back in this summer) and remember taking a hose off the battery. Thank you.
