Port engine ventilates (revs) way more than starboard. "97 Speedster
If The boat has even a few weeds in the grate the port mill will grab water up to about 4K and then quickly rev up to the limiter. Starboard engine doesn't have that issue. I noticed that there are no pump-to-plate seals or silicone sealant around them, are they really necessary? How do you test the carbon seal? When weed-free (not easy to do in our milfoil-infested MN metro lakes) and just two of us in the boat it shoots out of the water just fine.
