Poppy Covers

I don't know if this is the place for this or not, but we just replaced the 12 year old cover on our Challenger with a new Poppy cover. What a great product. The fit is perfect, the anti-pooling system is great, the construction is superior and the rubber grommets around the cleats are a great touch. Here are a few pics.

I have a Challenger as well. Can this cover be put on the boat while it's in the water?

As long as you are at a dock... yes. But... they fit so tight... you need to be able to get around on the sides to pull it straight, and tighten the strap.

Do you have the stock cover? It installs like that one, so if you could do it with the stock cover, you can do it with the Poppy Cover. The anti-pooling system is great. Front and rear poles connected by webbing that hooks to the cleats. Although the straps are adjustable, I didn't have to do a thing to ours.

I don't have a stock cover. The one I have is generic. I don't leave my boat in the water very often, but when I do, it's hard to put it on and keep the back end of it out of the water.

Unfortunatly... since the swim deck on most seadoo's are very low (close to the water) just about any full cover is going to get wet when in the water.

All you can do is have a mooring cover made... but then you have to deal with all the snaps.

I thought about a cover with snaps. I had a boat with that style of cover before. I was hoping there was a cover that covered the sun deck but stopped there so that I could put the cover on and step off of the boat from the swim platform. I'll stick with what I've got for now. I don't leave it in the water very often and not more that a weekend at a time.
