Dr Honda Well-Known Member Jun 13, 2012 #2 the spec for a 98, 1800 is 38psi +- 12psi. The test is outlined in the manual, but basically it's the way we find out how much pressure the needle and seat can hold. Also... it's a tuning tool. Raising or lowering the pressure will effect the low transition.
