have some many issues with this XP 97.
Was not getting any fuel to the carburators. Had to change all hoses.
Engine started but when I released the throtle it died.
Try to started again and nothing no crank.
Checked fuses. 5 amp fuse in fuse box blown, replaced it and nothing. Found 5 amp fuse in box next to the solenoid blown. Now everytime I put a new fuse it blows inmediately. I checked everything can not find the problem.

Please help, I am ready to throw the towel!!

Shouldnt the fuse next to soleniod Be a 15 amp fuse..could be why that one blowing on you....i am new here but i have changed that fuse on mine and it was a 15 amp...hope i helped

Thank you oldmanactingyoung.
When I was reading the manual it said that there are two 5 amp fuses, one in the fuse box and the other one in the box where the solenoid is.
The fuse that was there was blown but as you said it was a 15 amp. one. So I thought that who had this ski before put the wrong fuse there. Now as you said I think that is why it is blowing because is too low.
Thank you I will try again with the 15 amp one
