alright guys, I just realized that I have not yet winterized my seadoo. It has been outside in the cold for about a month now and we have had LOTS of low weather and ice. Is it too late to do anything now? is the damage already done? It has the 786 engine.

I cannot get it into a heated garage, and have to work on it outside. I pulled it out of the water about 4 months ago and drove with it for about 3 hours on trailer before parking it. Is there a chance the machine will still be ok and no damage??

well you need toget it warm if your going to try and winteriz it. friends garage or family members in exchange for a case of beer or something:cheers:, the quicker you deal with it the less likley there will be any problems.

You might have a big problem on your hands. Lets see how long does it take water to freeze?...that's abut how long it would take to cause damage. You really need to get it in a warm place and get it winterized as quickly as possible. You might just get lucky.

It really depends...you should get it warm and winterize it asap!!

Some people just get lucky...I have a buddy who has never once winterized his doos and he has never had a problem. He has a 2006 RXP 215 and a 1999 GSX or GTX something like that....so that is 10 years or no winterizing for one and 2 years for the other....we live in Ontario so it gets cold. They have always started up right away in the summer!

I am not saying don't do anything about it....if possible do it asap...if it isn't you could just take your chances and see what happens! Who knows...you might get lucky!

when you put it on your trailer after you rode it last did you chuck a few revs to blow the water out? I know some people that is all they do and sure enough the damn thing runs in the spring, so maybe you got lucky.

I'm not familiar with your engine, to know the year from just this info, but feel it it is an older craft... "IF" and I do mean "IF" you fired it up once it was on the trailer, you might be ok... But man, up in Canada, and outside, I fear you aren't going to like what you find come June...
Please fill us in as to what you do, and the outcome!!!
