UPDATE!!

3RD Pic shows the part it broke off of

I have a 1999 Seadoo GTX RFI and am having so much trouble since I bought it a week ago:(

The last part to be able to get this machine back on the water , is in photo below.

A friend was replacing the starter for us and this piece broke off of what he described as the cooling line from the engine to the exhaust chamber.

Problem is not only do I have NO clue what this is from, but can't locate on any diagram I've seen.

Just want to have what's left of the season and get it back in the water.

Any help truly appreciated.

.on your machine,,,cooling water comes into the top fitting and drains out the bottom fitting,,,it was a quick disconnect fitting,,,(you squeeze it),, it cools the charging stator,,it then
goes under the motor or thru a rectangular cavity fitting under the crankcase,(to cool the crankcase)..,,but exits out the back of the ski. ,

Thank you so much for your reply! Does the broken piece connect to a tube? Need to replace and can't locate a part number

So,,,on the 951 DI,,the bottom hose curves out in a "u" turn,,,and connects to a 1/4 fitting,,,that connects to a rectangular (pvc) chamber under the motor to cool the crankcase,,,at the back,,,there is an out fitting,,,that also has a quick disconnect fitting that connects to a drain line...often what happens,,,someone wants lift the motor and put a temporary block under the motor not realizing the plastic cooling cavity is lurking underneath and break them,,the front fitting when someone wants to oull it off,,but it is not metal and bloodywell breaks off,,( I learned this the hard way years ago),,the method is to take a sharp knife/ box cutter and slice the hose off which become very hard over time,
,,I'm not sure why your "starter installer"had to come near the front stator cooling line?
You may be able to repair that joint ,,,not sure,,,use a mirror to find the other fitting under the front of the motor,,,just use a soft clear flxible hose to replace the original,,,you can secure them with a gear clamp or zip tie,,,it is not a pressure hose,

I have a DI and am familiar with the setup POPPS described. But yours may be different. See part # 290811220, replaced by 420811220 on the parts diagram for your model. A quick search shows several for sale on ebay that look similar to yours and only have 1 barb.
