I just purchased a 2001 Sea Doo LRV from a dealer located 500 miles form my home.
I MAY have bought a piece of garbage!!!! ????
I am looking for some advice if anyone can help.
I took the Ski out for the first time on Friday and was very disappointed as to it's performance. The ski was bogged down terribly even at full throttle.
At first, I thought maybe it just needed to be run and worked out a bit. After 40 minutes, it did not improve at all. It would eventually pick up some speed but the performance is terrible.
The scary part is , when i finally returned to the docsk, the engine compartment was filled with smokey exhaust fumes. It took a LONG time for this "smoking" to dissipate.
I did run fresh, 89 octane fuel in it by the way.
Any suggestions? I know this is a general question but I am VERY concerned that I may have bought a ski with major issues.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
