hey guys i just wanted to start a thread concerning the way that things have been going on here with some of the posts.... I have learned more off this site in the last few months than i have learned my whole life!!!! there are so many knowledgeable experts on here and i dont mean to but in all the time and act like i know it all..... I DONT and i will never claim too i just naturally like to help people and alot of the times i will read a thread and just skim over it some times and not pay attention to what is really going on being that i am at work when i reading it and im always real busy here.... so i just wanted to apologize to all the guys on here for seeming like i am acting like a "know it all" kind of guy ..... im really not like that all of you guys live a long ways from me so i have never gotton a chance to meet anyone.... And i know that alot of you think that i am really young..... IM NOT i know it seems like that because of the post i made about my dad being only 38 so logically that would make me around 19-21 correct!!! no actually he is my step dad and my biological father is 51 but i never met my "birth dad" till i was like 14 so i really dont know him. My step dad is DAD to me and always will be even though we are close in age. I know it seems weird that im telling you guys this but i just want you to know that im not some 19 year old punk throwing answers around on here when i really dont have a clue as to whats going on....... i owe some of you an apology especially SEADOOLOU and 470"whatever that means" :biggrinjester:.. and to everyone else on here i say "I APOLOGIZE FOR MY ACTIONS" and i hope i have not burned any bridges with anyone :blush:
 
Hey Brock1, nice message. I don't think you burned any bridges, things got pretty heated up with keltonks over the broken timing chain.
My friend broke one in his 2003 Saturn (185,000 miles) earlier this yr. Also bent valves and stuff, replaced it all himself w/little help from me. cost about $700, it now has over 200K mile on it. The best part was the fact that I got to keep his classic car in my garage during the work period.....now only if i had the pinkslip for it.

thanks buddy and yes things did get quite heated up over keltonks but i guess you get one of those evry now and then
 
Cool post Brock, I don't think anyone was offended. It does take some nutz to get up here and apologize though.

Forget it, no offence was taken. We just had a difference of opinion. You were right about the carbs., I just thought he should fix the compression problem first.

glad you understand lou i just wasnt convinced that he really had low compression due to the oil/gas in the cylinders but thanks for understanding
