Plastic to Plastic Adhesive Help

Hoping to get some help or advice. 08 Speedster windscreen. The plastic block that holds the latch over the cooler broke free last year. I tried some Gorilla glue and it worked for a little while but eventually broke from stress or more likely being stored under a hot cover in the sun.

I was thinking JB Plastic Weld or some sort of two part epoxy. Just trying to get some feedback or hear from someone with a similar experience. I've posted a pic of what I'm dealing with.

I've had great luck with G-Flex epoxy. You can get it at your local West Marine. It bonds to anything and can be thickened as needed. I once used it to bond an aluminum pump shoe to my old blaster. Held up like a champ.
