So I have a twin engine Speedster wake 430 twin SC 215's. Pulled both pumps and driveshafts and on port engine, there was a bunch of broken pieces of plastic inside. I was able to clean it all out, but I looked inside the other engine and i see the plastic piece inside that one and dont know what it is or if its neccessary, i cant find it on parts diagram. I know there is a rubber plug that goes on the end of driveshaft when it goes in the engine, but not sure what the plastic piece is and if i need to replace the broken one on the port engine or pull the other one out. Any help is appreciated.

To be clear the plastic piece is inside where the driveshaft stabs into engine against crankshaft. I did finally find the part on crankshaft schematic, it’s called a stop sleeve i think, I ordered one just to be safe but not sure if I’ll be able to get it in there

Yeah it’s the stop sleeve. I just replaced a coupler and it was one of the pieces. Pretty easy to fit inside, especially if you have the impeller tool. Just make sure you get all of the old pieces out
