Plane Locates Teenager Sailing Solo

A 16-year-old girl trying to sail solo around the world who was missing in treacherous seas in the Indian Ocean has been found by an Australian search plane and is in good condition, her parents said on Friday.

Wow, this 16 year old girl was trying to circumnavigate the world...

I think that's pretty cool. I would love to try that some day, and to have the confidence at age 16 is just plain awesome.

An Oz girl finished sailing around the world about 1 month ago.She was 16 and did it solo,non-stop and unassisted!Gutsy is all I can say.Her first name is Jessica Watkins
