Ended up getting a 1997 Speedster from a friend of a friend of mine in GREAT shape. The hull is in great shape with you minor interior condition ( faded tops of seats and a rip on one of the shoulder pads. It was recently taken to the local Seadoo dealer due to him hooking up a 12v. jump box to it to start it. Seadoo diag. it to be blowing the 5amp. fuse which means it need to have a new MPEM, which will be being sent out to Mike (allthingscustom) on this site to have it rebuilt like new for almost an 1/8 of the price as new. I will post pics tomarrow when I get a chance to to pack some. Also does anyone know where I can pick up a HARD paper book for the boat. I understand I can become a premium meber and download and print anything I may need but it's still not like having it in front of you at all times, but also may still become a premium member to help the site out. Also I got the boat for a steal at $2400 with trailer, Thought I was gonna get it for $2200 but the boat was in a little better shape then I expected and he through in a new single tube, new double tube and tow ropes. So I didnt mind giving a little more....

Great deal!.........

Man, that sounds like the deal of the century!...........

Thanks for the idea of becoming a member to help support the forum. But if I might add, you can get a hard back copy of your manual through the premium membership.

I've got a couple of them printed for my side hobbie work here on the river, working on the Doo's....

I went to Office Max and bought a ream of some nice paper. Not the thin stuff, like notebook paper. I got this stuff that's pretty thick and stout, to hold up in my shop. I printed the entire manual by setting my printer up to print front and back. The only thing that's different than the book, is my binder. I used a hole punch and put it in a hard back binder.

Just some hints as to how I have my manuals saved.

Good luck..........sounds like a great deal! Can't wait to see the pix!...
