Hi

This is a pic of my 07 seadoo challenger 180, the boat had a small damage to the front and the previous owner tried to fix it but we can still see it. Is there a way i could fix that ?? if so how and what product would u recommend ??

Thanks

No problem...just sand down the area, go on www.gelcote.com and buy a gelcoat repair kit for $35 and then spread it over the spot...put a piece of the clear plastic over the spot (comes in kit) let it dry and wet sand until you can't see it anymore!! I just did it on a spot and came out perfect.

Good luck

great !! what sandpaper did u use before and after applying the gelcoat kit ??

Thats an easy fix. There are a few recent threads with all the info you need. Start with 1000, then 1500 and then finish with 2000. All wet. I used too much and had to knock it down flat first with a drywall sanding block. It needs a better surface to stick too....I would scuff it up some before you put it down. Dont sand it totally smooth.

Yes, lots of recent threads on this. Use the search feature for more info on repairing and purchasing gelcoat kits.
