Hello guys.

Now its finally summer again

I hope someone can tell me, about my PWC have problem or not.

Sometimes (mostly) when i push the start button, i only hear some "click" and the starter doesnt revolve the engine. I have to push the start button a couple of times before the starter turns the engine on.
The RXT is only 25 hours old. So i dont think the starter could be defective.
Could it be the battery maybe?

Thanks...

Aha..there it is yes :)

Thank you my friend. Next time it doesnt start, i will measure the output from relay.

Thanks.....

Hi

No i didnt charge the battery. But the problem has always been there since i buyed the PWC used.

And when it activates the starter motor, it cranks the engine very well.

Anyway i will charge the battery now :)

I have the same problem with my 2005 RXT. It went unnoticed for quite some time because usually it's too noisy to here the click and people think that they just didn't push the start button hard enough.

Starter solenoid/relay (#20 in the diagram). Had same issue on my GTI, it's a $30-$40 item and easy to replace. You can verify by putting a volt meter on the positive side of the solenoid, if your not getting 12v when you press the start button then that is the problem.

BRP has a new updated relay. Bad starter relays have been a problem for Sea-Doo.
