Parts warehouse question

Whats up peoples! Damn, been a while since I been on here. Too darn cold in MD to even think about the ol boat. Buuuuutttt, gotta start thinking about some of the issues we've gotta get taken care of come spring time. The most pressing need is for a new set of reverse/shifter cables. We tried to repair the rod that ties the shifter to the cable (located just below the control handle) I mean went to a machinist and had him custom make a new rod that held the cable and everything but the cable kept sliding out. So here's where my confusion comes in. We need the cable that comes from the reverse gate ALL the way to the control handle, including that little rod we kept having so much trouble from. My question is on the parts site does part # 17 on this page... http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/seadooforums/Seadoo_oem/Seadoo_JB.asp?Type=13&A=27&B=16
have what I need, cause I am thinking it does not! Again, from where the cable ties to control arm all the way to the transom is what i am after. Karl? Snipe? Anybody?
Thanks guys!

It looks like the cable assembly is #17. You might want to call them to confirm it has the whole assembly complete end to end, or if you need to order the extra small pieces you need.

No one has any idea lol. Have called parts guys in 6 or 7 states and no one knows. Getting ready to call a guy that makes those kinda things (as per what i found in another thread) but the prob with that is he wont be able to make an exact copy of what was there cause we tried to jerry rig the damn thing last year. There used to be a brass or copper sleeve at the base of that god forsaken rod, and we replaced that with an all-thread rod coupling, and to be quite honest that may have been the reason for it failing in the first place. Man this is starting to aggrevate me.....ah well, wish me luck!
