Parts adaptability

I'm new to the seadoo boating world and have searched the interwebz but still can't seem to get a good answer. So with that being said are these boats build around their PWC kin? I have a 95 Sportster with the 657 engine. What parts are interchangeable to these boats IE pumps, intake grates, and exhausts.

There are quite a few parts shared across multiple models. The way to find them is to look up the parts diagram for your model and get the part number. Once you have the part number, I don’t really see why you’d care which other models use it.

Reason for the question is for spare parts. If I happen to come across a ski for cheap with the same items as my sportster I'd have spare items for incase emergency.

Ah, got it. I think as long as the ages are similar, give or take a couple years, there will be a lot of overlap. You might be able to identify the generation changes for your model, I mean the years where they actually did a major redesign.
