Parting out a 95 XP

Hi All,

I bought a project XP, and I’ve decided to go a different direction. The Motor is already spoken for, and it had a bad MPEM… but everything else is still there, and for the most part, it is in good shape. If you need a hull… it is damage free (even the bottom looks good) and has a clear PA title. I’ll get some pictures posted up tomorrow when I get into my shop. I figure I'd give you guys first shot at the parts before I put them up on ebay. Post up with what you want.

Just a little FYI… I don’t know the real history on the XP. I bought it recently with the intent of parting out, but once I got it… I went back and forth on if I was going to fix it and use it… or part it. The only story I know is what they previous owner told me. He said… “I was riding it, and it shut off, and I could not get it to start again. I took it to a dealer, and he said it needed a computer.”

After I bought it, I found that the MPEM was bad, but I pulled the kill wire off the CDI, and I started the engine. Knowing that the engine was good… I would ASSUME that the pump, and drive is good too. I also know the gauges work, along with the fuel and oil senders.

Here are some pics….

As you can see… the XP was in pretty good condition. There is minimal fading, and there is really no damage to the hull. There are a few scrapes on the bottom… but it’s not even into the gell, and the white top gell is still shiny. The only reason the hull looks messy is because it’s dirty. (wipes off) I almost hate to part this thing out, as it only needs an MPEM to make it a runner, but I need the trailer for my motorcycles, and I need the engine for a different project.

The pump is a 140mm. Pretty much every Seadoo that is an 800 or smaller uses it. I haven’t pulled it off yet, so I can’t give you a price right now. Let me see what condition it’s in… and I’ll post up.

The seat isn’t perfect… but it’s not ripped up either. If you want it… I’d go $40 plus shipping. It’s big, so that may get a little expensive… but I’ll check on it to your zip, and send you a PM.

Yup… the VTS gauge worked when I powered it up for a few minutes. PM me an offer.
 
how much for the steering cable and hardware with the steering cable

The hardware... the nuts, bolts, and hull fittings?? Or somthing else?

How about $40 shipped? Its in good shape. The seals are in tact, and its smooth.

The pump is in pretty good shape. It’s a bronze pump, all the stator fins are good, the bearings are good, and the wear ring is even in pretty good shape. (better than my sportster) The impeller is worn. The leading edge shows use, but it’s not cracked or bent, so it could be ground, and sharpened.

PM me with what parts you want (ie, just the pump, or the nozzle, what hardware) and we will work out a price.
