I have a 96 GSX in Excellent condition The hull is mint and motor in great shape as well all parts, accessories, components in tact. The only thing wrong with is it does not have a Title! I am wondering what is the best way to begin to part the ski out do I take the engine out first? Do I separate each engine part? Any suggestion is greatly appreciated. picture below!

I know it is, but I was told it would take months to recover the title. I don't have room for it at the time, and I fortunatly have another seadoo in the garage already which sadly is giving me problems.

Title.......

Not all states require a title to license. One of my skis was bought from a guy in Florida. When I went to the Department of Motor Vehicles, I was only required to have the registration and a bill of sale. I now have a registration number in my name.

So, before you part it out, you might try and sell it to someone of a state like mine that doesn't require a title. They do a search in the computer from where it was last licensed to make sure it wasn't stolen, that's it!.....

I have had no luck selling for quite some time, i guess its the economy being where it is, but I do appreciate the suggestion
Does anyone know how to part out a seadoo like this. I am willing to sell the ski for $600.00 as is so I oviously not looking to make a profit or much money parting it out I just want to make room.

Thanks

Makes me sad to see many skis in excellent condition being parted out.
One day there won't be any nice examples of some skis left out there and we will wish there was......
Really disturbing to see posts in the classifieds of board "parting out mint condition...."

Does 600 include the trailer? If so, I'll buy it in a couple of weeks. I'm going to Melbourne for Thanksgiving.

Yes it includes the trailer!
but I did specify that it does not have a starter, because its in my other ski, sorry I don't know if that changes things, I really don't have the money, time, and especially room to keep this thanks for the reply.

Hey I think that's fine I would encourage it, If you are truly interested I will start to put on the parts I have taken off, which are the carbs, and the fuel lines thats the only problem I took all fuel lines out recently so it needs new fuel lines. oh and the digital gauge is hard to read i guess over time the film on has started to feel I believe it can be fixed, Hey thanks for the reply let me know or PM me thanks

little things like the VTS had some wiring problems that i fixed easy. but i guess the main problem was the 366 hours on it. now it needs carb work and new fuel lines because of the age.

yours looks like it has more on it like the step in the back and both after market mirrors. mine only has one.

This is too nice looking of a ski to be parted.
Somebody needs to grab this one!
It would already be in my driveway if it wasn't so far away.
Alot of hours is like alot of miles on a car.
I don't care as long as it has been well cared for and looks good.
Miles and hours mean it has been used for what it was intended for.
Vehicles that sit and hardly ever get driven, or ridden, have problems.

Well if your sure you want the seadoo that much then I am sure there is a way I can find out for you how it can be delivered and how much it would cost you. Remember you will need a starter and new black fuel lines. So I will let you know. Thanks

Hey I could not find any shipping service that would ship a jetski to the other side of the WORLD practically:) but maybe you can find a service I have had no luck thanks good luck .

PS If there is one out there then it wont be cheap. It will probably cost at least $1500 US to ship

just came across this website while looking for parts for my 95 XP800.

i may be interested in buying this from you, unless you'd want to sell me the front box with key from it?

As of now I am trying to avoid parting it out, so i just want to sell it so it will hopefully be more useful for somebody else. So let me know if you have and questions

THANKS
