Part Identification help

Hi Everyone,

I just installed a new motor in my 1999 Challenger 1800 and I have a piece left over and I'm not sure where it goes. I'm thinking it goes on my oil injection pump but when I look at pictures of other pumps I don't see it on there. It's about an inch long for size reference. Any help would be appreciated!

That is part of the oil pump.
