alright, im new to this place so first i would like to say, whats up and how y'all doin? ok, so heres my story, my neighbor just moved and with his house got a new boat and a pair of 94 seadoos one an xp and one an sp. the sp needed minimal work (battery and plugs) and the xp needs some tlc, new seat, some ignition work, battery plugs (thats what it looks like anyways.) So i got these for free :hurray: and today i began my work. i finished the sp in a matter of min and i wanted to start it and run it for a few min before i throw it in the water. but i dont know where to connect the hose to whereever in the ski. i got it running and it started for a lil while i just want some water flowing around in there. So, any info on where to plug the hose in is greatly appreciated, and anywhere to pick up new parts for my xp is great as well. Thanks for reading!

On the rear of the seadoo should be a fitting that a garden hose will attach to. It should have threads on it to attach it. You can hook up the hose to the seadoo and have them run for up to 5 minutes. Connect the hose and start the seadoo. Turn on the water after it is started. Turn off the water, than shut down the seadoo. This way it won't allow water to back flow into the engine through the exhaust due to no back pressure from the engine not running. The bearings and seals on the impeller jet pump are cooled from being in the water. When it is on the trailer it doesn't have that cooling effect so they will get hot after about 5 minutes.
I pre start my seadoo's too, dry before I leave for the launch too. Just for a second or 2 to be sure it will start at launch. Peace of mind is worth lot.
