ok I know this has been talked about alot i searched the forums but still have some questions.
I want to completely custom paint my 97 GTX. I have a very good friend who runs a paint shop and paints cars. He said we can use automotive paint for the top half but not on the bottom. So what can i do? I want to paint the hull jet black and i already for some paint for that. (Its aviation paint but it sprays just like automotive paint but its really high quality is stronger.) I want to paint the bottom half and the hood lambo green but i was told to paint the bottom i had to use Gelcoat that automotive paint wont last. SO what shout i do can get gelcoat custom mixed for lambo green and it look ok with the hood and bottom hull gel coat and the rest automotive paint?
I also read something about this stuff called awlgrip but i don't think i can get it in lambo green. I need something that shoots just like automotive paint that i can get in lambo green and will hold up to the water.
