Well I was wondering if this was a big deal or not. I noticed the bottom of my seadoo's paint was all worn off in the center, you know from beaching it. You can see the fiberglass along the middle portion of the bottom. Should I be concerned about this?
Thanks.

Its the gelcoat thats worn off, not paint. I would be concerned because the fiberglass is not water proof. It will soak up water over time. I just had mine regelcoated because just like yours it was worn down because of beaching. Cost me $300 but I think it was worth it. You should do the same.

I was towing a vessel that broke down back to their dock once. After being so nice to do so for them, they did not even bother to tell me about the shallow rocks right in front of their dock. I had a few gouges through the gel coat so I had my bottom gel coated. It cost me around $300 too.

Get it fixed, and buy a sand bag anchor and never let your hull hit the beach again. It is easy to have with you all the time because it takes no space, weighs nothing and can be left in the water while you go in and out from the beach with it's float marking the spot. If you really must beach it, at least buy a keel protector.
