I am a new owner of a 1999 Speedster SK. It is the red model and it has a little oxidation issue.
What is everyone's recommendations on on how to remove the oxidation on the red? The reading that I have done
shows that 3m marine rubbing compound is the best solution.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

if there is a lot of oxidation then rubbing C should be ok. You may want to try a polishing compound first...it's not as "rough" and could be all you need........then give it a good waxing.

Nice boat

Agree - Start with the mildest first and use harsher if it doesn't work. Rubbing compound is very course and will leave small scratches. If you use rubbing compound, you will need to use polishing compound then a polish then wax/sealant when you are done. It is like sanding wood. 80 grit then 100 then 150 then 220 then 320 etc.

I found the new polymer sealants last much longer then the old carnauba waxes,
