over heating spi

I am currently working on a 1993 SPI that is over heating. I have replaced the wear ring and pulled the ex manifold and head cover to check for corrosion. I have also checked flow in all the cooling lines. The ski will run on the flush hose all day but 10 minutes in the water and it will boil the water in the head and cylinders. The ex manifold and pipe are cooling fine but the head and cylinders are getting too hot. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. THANKS

Welcome to the seadoo forum. I would check all the fittings in the cooling lines first. If all the lines and fittings are clear it is possible that the cylinders and head is corroded and blocked. To check them you will need to pull them off to check them. If that model has a water regulator valve on the exhaust, it might be plugged as well.

Its boiling and spewing out steam tru the pissers, because the water cannot get out of the engine tru the plastic restrictor at the hull outlet. Follow the hose from the engine carb side of the head to it. Remove hose, Put a small 3/16 drill bit in it to see how deep to
the back wall. Drill it out with bits, getting larger to 9/32". Don't drill thru the back wall. You can do this easily, Dude!
