Hello to all

Well after some work on the ski over the winter and help from some in the forum the ski was ready for a open water test. To take a step back to last year the ski quit on the last run. Reading over some posts and FAQ's, I elected to rebuild the carbs and change out the gray fuel lines. In total i replaced one rear engine mount that was broke, two spark plugs, all the fuel lines, rebuilt both carbs, inline fuel filter, selector valve as the screw broke off at the head for the knob, replaced a missing spring under one of the rave valve covers, fixed the fuel sending unit, cleaned the speedo pick up unit and put a new battery in. After priming the engine a few times through the intake it caught and ran on its own. I shut it down and hooked up the water and restarted it. It ran fine, that was a month ago.
Today the weather hit 76 here in Bethlehem, pa. So we decided to give a trial. We went to the river and launched. I thought the ski ran good last year but with the new work the mid range hesitation was gone and there was none at any speed. It was a great feeling to be back on the ski again as winter seemed forever.
I bought the carb, intake kits and motor mount from SBT. All the other parts came from a source called cheapcycleparts.com. Same web layout as the seadoo place but the prices were considerably cheaper.
Thanks to all who replied with info, enthusiasm and encouragement.
Brian
