Congratulation, I’m on the fence not sure if I should order Fish Pro Trophy or a Wake Pro 230Hello Everybody,
I just put a deposit on a 2022 Fish Pro Trophy. Hope it will be here by the end of the year.
Thank you,
Jeff
Well, I pulled the trigger today as well. Now I get to waitHello Everybody,
I just put a deposit on a 2022 Fish Pro Trophy. Hope it will be here by the end of the year.
Thank you,
Jeff
I wanted the Fish pro for the extension but then I found that you now can have the GTX with the rear deck extension for an extra $500 since I am not fishing and I don't really need the Garmin $1000 and for the cooler I prefer a Cabela's at $250 than the Sea doo at $700, not to say that the Cabelas keep the ice for a week while I don't think the sea doo will.Well there are some plus' and minus' with both. The 230 has more HP but I did not see anything about fuel capacity. the fishpro has an 18 gallon tank. The depth finder is another $1K, the cooler is another $500, then any other accessories. I personally do not need the 230 HP engine, I am interested in fishing more than playing on the water. And the trophy now has that great seat for better visibility when fishing and some other features. hope this helps. Mine should be here sometime around December i think
Yes that is what I said about the battery, but this is to add a third battery? I like the idea about a solar panel! The Trophy comes with a second battery already installed. I am planning to attach a solar panel to charge the batteries while I am out fishing. I want to have the Garmin and maybe the radio working while I am sitting and fishing.
I am also planning to get the cooler top extension, want a place to keep food when I am using the cooler as a live well.
Jeff
I picked up some info at the dealership today, the Wake Pro 230 has a fuel capacity of 18.5 gallon tank, the Fishpro Scout 130 has a 15 gallon tank, the Fishpro Sport 170 and Fishpro Trophy 170 both have 18.5 gallon tanks. I'm leaning more toward the Wake Pro 230 with an added Garmin unit. I will be doing more wake boarding with my kids than Fishing so it makes since in my situation.Well there are some plus' and minus' with both. Do you own a 2018 or newer Sea Doo with the LinQ ski pylon attachment? I have contacted BRP inc. (Sea Doo) management and board members to approve an additional accessory and investment of adding a seat post and swivel seat to the ski pylon. Would you like to have this accessory and option of the ski pylon as a seat pedestal and swivel seat?Congratulation, I’m on the fence not sure if I should order Fish Pro Trophy or a Wake Pro 230

This is a great idea, having the swivel seat would be a great addition to the wake pro. Have you heard back from BRP?Do you own a 2018 or newer Sea Doo with the LinQ ski pylon attachment? Also does anyone have the 2022 Sea Doo Fish Pro Trophy with the new swivel seat? Sea Doo must have understood that without a swivel seat, with the wave or current action spinning the ski around it could make it hard to cast for fish.
Great to have a swivel seat accessary even if not just for fishing and seems clear that they spent much time on R&D and money on remanufacturing the body shell and seat for the pedestal attachment points.
I haven’t been able to inspect the new Trophy swivel seat, so would be interested to get owners opinions, it looks like there is a key type attachment insert of the pedestal to the body shell of the ski, and a round fit of the pedestal to the seat. I have a question if these types of attachments might have some looseness or play in them? If there is not solid attachments to the pedestal and seat the motion of the water can make this looseness or play even more irritating or annoying? What do you think? Would you like to have the option of an accessory that uses the ski pylon as a swiveling seat pedestal on this Fish Pro Trophy so that 2 people could use this at the same time?
Well if there is anything I can do for you just ask. Always willing to lend a helping hand when possible p.I came up with an idea, and filed a patent # 63/210,644 that adapts and modifies the Sea Doo LinQ ski Pylon to provide a swiveling seat post and seat, and have sent requests to invest in the transfer of ownership and assignment of this patent to BRP Group Inc. but no agreement yet, believe it will take more consumers and dealers letting them know that they want this new accessory

Since Sea Doo has them included on the 2022 Trophy wouldn't they already have it patented?Do you own a 2018 or newer Sea Doo with the LinQ ski pylon attachment? I have contacted BRP inc.
