Its very salvageable,,,I have been cleaning up edges like yours for years,
I put the prop in a vise, and use a cold file.,,that is about 1,1/4 inches wide. If there is a bent edge, I use an adjustible wrench to bend them back,,,If there are no bent edges, I file down all the rough edges from the side of the blade,,,then I take the file, and go over the curved part of the blade,,,in long arcs from the exterior to the centre hub.
just make sure to NOT go over the curved edges that touch the wear ring,,because that will increase the spacing and cause cavitation,
It really comes down to experience, having used this method for over 20 years,
I wish I had pics for you.,,,I will try to send a pic of my file,,,same one for years, For finishing work you can use a finer file,a smaller file near the hub,,,or some narrow finishing air tool.
The cold file prevents over grinding and heating the metal reducing its strength.,,that air tool is great for finishing.
This will work for aluminum or stainless props.
