One loud and long Beep - HELP!!!
HI Guys from New Zealand - Just got my 2007 C180 215 IC out for its first run this season and it appeared to be going fine but under hard acceleration gave a loud and long beep. The motor was going sweet and nothing appeared to happen except I buttoned off of course. I had just installed a brand new battery as I got a low volts alarm when test starting in the driveway at home . Could something need a reset as it ran smoothly all the way up to 7200 rpm but beeped if I went up from there.? I took the boat out of the water to be safe but as said it didn't miss a beat really.
