The Seadoo Rotax, If you install a blockoff plate, whether you continue to use the resivoir or bypass it, you still need oil for the crankcase...my question is,...seems that, everybody says to still use the injector oil for the casing, why, sice its not being injected anymore, cant you use some other type, thicker oil maybe?, since motor is turning 6k-8k rpm.

The reason is because that is what the engine was designed to use by seadoo. It isn't burnt, but it could seep into the engine and you wouldn't want it to NOT mix with premix or injector... I have seen a lot of seadoo's seeping oil from the Rotary Valve Chamber seals into the cylinders ...Some don't even realize it.
