How much injection oil does a speedster normally use. I've run through about 20 galons of fuel and the oil level has dropped very little, about an inch.

Not sure about your oil tank size. My sportster le is about the same or less than 1" for 20 gallon. You must been driving hard :-D

If you are concerned, you should check the alignment line on the oil pump first.

Definately use a mechanics mirror with magnification and have a look at the alignment marks on your oil pump with the throttle set to idle, all you need to do is remove the plastic airbox and mount from the carbs to gain access to the oil pump cable adjuster.

You need two 10mm wrenches to adjust to the cable.

Perfect. I feel better now. The guy who sold me the oil at the Seadoo/motorcycle shop told me it would use 1 gal. for every 50 of gas. Yes I have run it hard. I picked this boat up for $800 bucks thinking it needed a lot of work. 3 hrs reading the seadoo forum, a few cleaning, about 10 fixing leaks and doing adjustments and POW, the boat runs. This thing is the most fun Ive had in a long time:thumbsup:

Well the theory is that u should burn 1 gallon of oil per 50 gallons of gas as it runs a 50:1 mix(50 parts gas:1part oil)
