Oil type for 2003 Sea Doo islandia optimax 250

I have a 2003 Sea-Doo Islandia 250 Optimax,
Adding oil for the first time as I’ve only owned for a couple of months just wanna make sure I’m putting in the correct oil type. I’m being told quicksilver or mercury OptiMaxx DFI if anybody could clarify it would be greatly appreciated as I know it’s a necessity to add the correct oil.

I think the best advice is not to mix oils...i personally waited until the oil was low, then filled up with Pennzoil TCW3. Around $13-17 at walmart. After following this site for years, i believe this is the best advice. Whatever you do, ensure the product states TC-W3.

Strange thing- the MERC oil for Optimax engines is NOT TC-W3 rated. It also says "not for use in engines that specify TC-W3 oil."
